What’s Wrong with Big Data?

Big Data is touted as the Holy Grail of modern competitive business – a multi-faceted tool that produces exponential profits for those companies smart enough to leverage this smart, hip technology. But wait – that sound you’re hearing is profound backlash. Big Data, still new and still quite immature, produces as many questions as answers. How to interpret the data? How to gather and input the data? When to trust the “answer,” if the result of a Big Data query can be called an answer. The market offers a blizzard of products and solutions, without mentioning the myriad issues involved in interpretation. In this video roundtable, three Big Data experts will attempt to provide guidance for companies working to leverage the new magic of Big Data.
