FOX News: At a Japanese developer event, Microsoft announced that it would release a second preview of its forthcoming Windows 8 operating system this summer. “Announce…Windows 8 Release Preview first week of June. Here’s the announce from Japan’s Windows 8 Dev Days #thankyou,” the company tweeted.

Microsoft released a Consumer Preview version of Windows 8 in February, but the June release will likely be much closer to the final code for the operating system.
