FOX News: The FBI has revealed the identity of Sabu, the alleged head of the hacker gang LuzlSec. They say Sabu is Hector Xavier Monsegur, a 28-year-old, unemployed father of two who lives in public housing.

Monsegur has reportedly been working with the federal agency since last June. Based on information he provided, the FBI has arrested three top members of LulzSec and charged two others.

“Sabu could be making millions of bucks heading the IT security department of a major company,” said a law enforcement official. “But look at him, he’s impoverished, living off public assistance and was forced between turning on his friends and spending a lifetime in jail. It’s sad, really.”
