Rare Video Footage from Inside a Foxconn iPad Factory

American Public Media: Apple and its supplier Foxconn almost never allow the media inside their factories. However, the companies did allow Rob Schmitz to film inside an iPad factory in China after he exposed some fabrications in an earlier report about working conditions in Foxconn factories.

Schmitz describes the production work as boring and tedious, but he says that workers continue to flock to Foxconn’s factories because pay and conditions there are better than at many other factories in China. Click the link to view the exclusive video footage.
