No Patent Lawsuit Settlement for Apple and Samsung

The Verge: As requested by the judge in their patent infringement lawsuit, the CEOs of Apple and Samsung spoke Monday but could not reach a settlement. Samsung attorney Kevin Johnson reported, “There was no resolution.”

The lack of a settlement means closing arguments in the case will take place Tuesday, and jury deliberations will likely begin Wednesday.

The case centers on Apple’s allegations that Samsung’s Galaxy products copy the design of the iPhone and iPad.
