Fox News: Hackers hit online shoe retailer Zappos and got away with personal information for approximately 24 million customers. In a message sent to customers, the company said that while the attackers did not gain access to complete credit card numbers, they did steal shipping addresses, e-mail addresses, phone numbers, the last four digits of credit card numbers and possibly other information.

Zappos CEO Tony Hsieh wrote, “We’ve spent over 12 years building our reputation, brand, and trust with our customers. It’s painful to see us take so many steps back due to a single incident.”
