Apple to Announce iPad 3 First Week in March

AllThingsD: Unnamed sources tell AllThingsD that Apple will unveil the iPad 3 during the first week of March. The next-generation tablet is expected to be much like the iPad 2 physically, but with a faster processor, better GPU and a 2048×1536 Retina Display. The iPad 3 would likely become available for purchase about a week or so after the announcement.

Apple has declined to comment on the story.
