Wired: On Wednesday evening, the FBI arrested Anonymous spokesperson Barrett Brown. At the time of the raid, Brown was participating in an online chat, and the recorded chat session captured audio from the arrest.

The arrest came shortly after Brown posted a YouTube video threatening FBI agent Robert Smith. “So that’s why Robert Smith’s life is over,” Brown said in the video. “When I say his life is over, I’m not saying I’m going to kill him, but I am going to ruin his life and look into his fucking kids. Because Aaron Barr did the same thing and he didn’t get raided for it. How do you like them apples?”

He continued, “As FBI knows … they know that I’m armed and I come from a military family and I was taught to shoot by a Vietnam veteran … and I will shoot all of them and kill them if they come and do anything…. I have reason to fear for my life.”

The video concludes, “Frankly, it was pretty obvious I was going to be dead before I was 40 or so, so I wouldn’t mind going out with two FBI sidearms like a fucking Egyptian pharaoh. Adios.”
