FOX News: The U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has issued a warning about a potential threat to the nation’s energy industry. DHS’s Industrial Control Systems Cyber Emergency Response Team (ICS-CERT) wrote that it had discovered “an active series of cyber intrusions targeting natural gas pipeline sector companies.” Sources say it concerned a spear-phishing attack  that has been active since December 2011.

DHS did not say where the cyberattack originated.
