Time Warner Cable Invests $25M to Build 1Gbps Fiber Network

Cnet: Taking a page from Google, Time Warner Cable has announced that it will build a $25-million fiber broadband network in New York City. But while Google’s super-fast Internet will be available for residential customers in Kansas, Time Warner’s network will target business users in Brooklyn and Manhattan’s Flatiron and Financial districts.

Time Warner has not yet announced pricing for the service.
