The iPhone Overtakes RIM in Canada

TGDaily: For the first time ever, RIM’s Blackberry smartphones are not the most popular brand in its home country, Canada. The once-dominant mobile phone maker sold 2.08 million units in Canada in 2011, but Apple sold 2.85 million iPhones in the country last year.

As recently as four years ago, RIM was selling five times as many smartphones as its nearest competitor.
