Computerworld: Aides to Sen. Herb Kohl (D-Wis.), the chairman of the Subcommittee on Antitrust, Competition Policy, and Consumer Rights, say that the U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee will look into Mozilla’s complaints about Microsoft. Last week, Mozilla claimed that Microsoft was refusing to provide APIs for Windows RT to other other browser makers. As a result, Mozilla said that the company was effectively banning third-party browsers from the version of Windows 8 that will run on ARM-based devices.
Microsoft has not commented on the story.
