Report: Amazon Prepping Two New Kindle Fire Tablets with Improved Build, Metal Casing

BGR: An anonymous source tells BGR that Amazon plans to release two new versions of its Kindle Fire tablet. One will be a 10-inch version with a quad-core processor, and one will be a 7-inch version with a dual-core processor. Both will feature metal casings that give the device a heftier feel than the first-generation plastic model. “It’s really up a notch from the current Fire,” said the source.

Amazon could officially unveil the devices as early as next month.
