ZDNet: Google’s Nexus 7 tablet, introduced three weeks ago at the I/O conference, is proving to be very popular with consumers. Numerous retailers, including Costco, GameStop, Sam’s Club, Office Depot, Staples, B&H, Mobile City and others, are currently sold out at this time. Even Google’s Play Store is sold out of the 16 GB model, although it still had 8GB models available as of Friday morning. The site explains, “We’ve had incredible demand for our new Nexus 7 tablet and are shipping them as quickly as possible.”

Where should you look if you want to buy a 16 GB Nexus 7? Your best best may be eBay, where the devices are selling for 20-30 percent more than retail.
