Microsoft’s February Patch Tuesday Fixes 21 Bugs

eWeek: On Valentine’s Day, Microsoft will be delivering a gift to its software users–a security update with nine patches to address 21 vulnerabilities. The release will include four “critical” bulletins for Internet Explorer, Windows and Silverlight. Five “important” bulletins will patch Office and Sharepoint.

While the release will update all modern versions of Windows, surprisingly, it contains the most fixes for Microsoft Windows Server 2008 R2. That’s unusual because server OSes usually have fewer bugs than desktop OSes.
