Microsoft Patch Tuesday Swats 23 Security Bugs, Including Duqu Exploit

eWeek: For this month’s Patch Tuesday, Microsoft released seven bulletins patching 23 security vulnerabilities in Windows, Silverlight, Office and the .NET Framework. Three of those bulletins — MS12-034, MS12-029 and MS12-035 — are marked “critical.” The first addresses an assortment of vulnerabilities, many of them related to the Duqu malware. The second fixes a critical bug in Office which could allow remote code execution. The third patches security bugs in the .NET framework.

Microsoft recommends that administrators apply the patches as soon as possible.
