PCMag: At Microsoft’s Worldwide Partner Conference in Toronto, CEO Steve Ballmer talked up the company’s plans for its new Surface tablet, saying, “We may sell a few million.” Ballmer added, “We have a mutual goal with our OEM partners to bring a diversity of solutions, Windows PCs, phones, tablets, servers, to market. And what we seek to have is a spectrum of stunning devices, stunning Windows devices. So, every consumer, every business customer can say, ‘I have the perfect PC for me.'”

Ballmer also had strong words about Apple, vowing that Microsoft is “not going to leave any space uncovered to Apple.” He repeated, “Not going to happen. Not on our watch.”
