Kodak Patent Bids Start Low

The Wall Street Journal: Kodak was hoping to get $2.6 billion for its portfolio of technology patents, but opening bids came in far below that amount. Unnamed sources who are “familiar with the process” told The Wall Street Journal that Google and Apple submitted bids in the $150 million to $250 million range.

Kodak is auctioning off 1100 patents as part of its bankruptcy proceedings.
