Fox News: Beginning Tuesday, Google is rolling out a new feature for its Web search that integrates data from its Google+ social network and its Picasa photo-sharing service. The “Search, plus your world” feature will automatically pull in content from Google+ and Picasa for English language users who log in to Google before searching. Users can disable the feature permanently by changing a setting in their preferences, or they can disable the feature on a case-by-case basis by clicking the globe icon on the search page.

Google’s primary search competitor, Microsoft’s Bing, already integrates social networking data from Facebook into its searches.
