Five Smartphone Trends at Mobile World Congress

Computerworld: This week, mobile device vendors, other tech companies and journalists have descended on Barcelona for the annual Mobile World Congress. As usual, a few themes have emerged from the deluge of product announcements, speeches and other interactions. Based on what companies have been showing at the event, your next smartphone is liking to include at least one of the following:

  • Quad-core processor
  • Big, high-definition screen
  • Near-field communications (NFC)
  • LTE wireless
  • Lower price
