BlackBerry Maker Hires Law Firm for Restructuring

Reuters: Unnamed sources tell Reuters that RIM has hired law firm Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy LLP to help with restructuring plans. The beleaguered BlackBerry maker may try to sell some of its assets, set up a joint venture with another company or sell licenses to some of its patents.

In its most recent quarter, RIM posted a $125 million loss. Its stock price has fallen 75 percent in the last twelve months.
