Asian Recruiters on the Prowl for IT Managers

The Register: The sight of Asian workers in IT departments at western countries has become so familiar that it’s a stereotype, but now, in an interesting twist, recruiting firms are reporting that a growing number of Asian firms are looking for IT managers from the U.S. and the U.K.  “Increasing numbers of ex-pats are coming into China, and they’re coming in mainly at IT manager or senior managerial level,” said Andy Bentote of Michael Page International.

The jobs market is particularly strong in China, Hong Kong and Singapore. The retail, e-commerce, gaming and business services industries have been working hard to recruit new IT managers.
