Computerworld: Apple has pushed out a new update for its Safari browser which patches a staggering 83 vulnerabilities, including 72 that the company called “critical.” That sets a new record for the number of bugs patched in one Safari update. Most of the problems Apple patched related to WebKit, the open-source browser engine also used by Google Chrome. Google found most of the vulnerabilities that Apple patched and has already fixed them in Chrome.
