Reuters: The Calcalist financial daily reports that Apple is negotiating to buy Anobit, an Israeli company that makes Flash memory technology. Sources put the price for the acquisition between $400 and $500 million. Apple uses Flash memory in its iPhone, iPad and MacBook Air.
If the deal goes through, it would be Apple’s first acquisition in Israel and one of its largest purchases ever.
