Apple App Store Downloads Top 25B

Cnet: Over the weekend, Apple announced that its App Store officially crossed 25 billion downloads. The App Store hit 10 billion downloads a little more than a year ago.

To celebrate the milestone, Apple gave away a $10,000 iTunes gift card to the person who made the 25 billionth download. That person was Chunli Fu of Qingdao, China, who downloaded a free Disney game called Where’s My Water? Free.
