DailyTech: According to research from Nielsen Mobile, sales of iOS and Android phones were nearly tied in December. Apple captured 44.5 percent of the smarthone market, while Android had 46.9 percent. As recently as October, Android phones had outsold iPhones 61.6 percent to 25.1 percent.
