Computerworld: According to new data from NetApplications, the browser battle for market share didn't change a lot in February. Microsoft's Internet Explorer remained the top browser, losing just one tenth of a percentage point to capture 52.8 percent of the market. Number two Firefox remained flat with 20.9 percent market share.

The research firm reworked its methodology for counting Google Chrome's market share; it said it had previously ranked Chrome higher than it should have because of Chrome's use of pre-rendering. Under the new methodology, Chrome came in third in the browser wars, falling slightly to 18.9 percent of the market.
