eWeek: Following in the footsteps of rivals T-Mobile and AT&T, Verizon has announced that it will end its all-you-can-eat mobile data plans in favor of tiered pricing. Smartphone users will now pay $30 for 2GB of data per month, $50 for 5GB of data and $80 for 10GB of data. Feature phone users can get 75MB of data for $10 per month.
Customers will receive notices when they exceed their monthly data limit.
