U.S. Cyber-Security Tsar Resigns Unexpectedly

eWeek: Randy Vickers, the director of the United States Computer Emergency Response Team (US-CERT), resigned his job last week with no official explanation. A key part of Vickers’ job was responding to cyberattacks against the U.S. government, which have escalated recently.

Lee Rock, the former deputy director for the agency, will act as interim director until a replacement for Vickers can be found.
