Computerworld:The Anti-Phishing Working Group (APWG) has published a new report which documented the existence 56,859 phishing sites, a new record high. Most commonly (38 percent of the time), the sites pretend to be related to financial services firms. Other popular spoofing targets included payment sites and retail sites. According to the report, the sites spoofed 392 different brands, which was also a new record.
