InformationWeek: According to new statistics from NetMarketShare, 1 percent of all Internet traffic and 2.1 percent of U.S. Internet traffic comes from Apple iPad users. In addition, the firm reports that 5 percent of all browsing sessions and 8.2 percent of U.S. browsing sessions now originate from a mobile device.

The top four mobile platforms for Internet traffic in the U.S. are the iPhone (35.2 percent of U.S. mobile Internet traffic), Android (31.6 percent), the iPad (25.5 percent) and BlackBerry (6.9 percent).
