NYTimes: According to unnamed sources, Google has a secret lab with CIA-like security where it works on projects that seem more like science fiction than reality. Called “Google X,” the lab has reportedly worked on projects like the driver-less cars that Google unveiled last year, as well as space elevators, the Internet of things and robots of all kinds.
