The Inquirer: Researchers from security vendor Kaspersky say they have identified a malicious app in Apple’s App Store for the first time ever. The app, named Find and Call, was actually a Trojan that stole users’ contact data and send it to a remote server. The app makers would send loads of spam texts to the contacts including asking for their PayPal account information.

The same app was also found in Google Play. Both the iOS and Android versions of the app have now been removed from the app stores.
