Chinese Hackers Score Heist of 35 Million South Koreans’ Personal Info

DailyTech: The Korea Communications Commission is reporting that hackers believed to be located in China broke into the servers for the Nate portal and Cyworld blogging sites. The attackers stole personal information — including phone numbers, e-mail addresses, names and coded data — for 35 million South Koreans.

South Korea has recently suffered a series of cyberattacks believed to have originated in China.
