Apple Sues to Ban Sales of Samsung Phones and Tablets in Japan

Reuters: Apple has filed a lawsuit against Samsung in Japan, claiming that the Galaxy S and S II smartphones and the Galaxy Tab 7 tablet “slavishly” copy the iPhone and iPad. Apple is seeking a ban on sales of the products and 100 million yen ($1.3 million) in damages. Apple has launched similar lawsuits in the United States, Australia, Korea and Europe.
