Ars Technica: In recent days, police have conducted 32 raids in Italy and one in Switzerland, leading to the arrest of 15 members of the hactivist group Anonymous who are accused of launching denial of service attacks against Italian websites. According to Italian authorities, all of those arrested are between the ages of 15 and 28, and one of those being detained is described as a “leader” of the group. Italian police are still seeking 30 additional suspects.
In response, the AnonOps faction of the group is encouraging other members to “Let [the government] have it, stronger than ever.”
