Computerworld: Confirming an earlier report by IDC, market research firm Gartner says that Android widened its market share lead over iOS in the second quarter. Google’s mobile OS accounted for 64.1 percent of the market, up from 56.1 percent in the first quarter and 43.4 percent in the second quarter last year.
