Amazon Web Services Reports Outage in the U.S.

PCWorld: On Monday, Amazon’s data center in Virginia experienced connectivity issues, knocking many of the company’s cloud computing clients offline. The outage came while the company was still recovering from an outage in Europe that was caused by a lightning strike in Dublin.

The outage lasted for approximately 30 minutes. Many Amazon Web Services customers, including Instagram and Foursquare, experienced problems during that time.
