30% of People Say Internet is as Important as Food, Air, Water, Shelter

NetworkWorld: An international survey conducted for the Cisco Connected World Technology Report found that 30 percent of people consider Internet access to be as important as food, air, water and shelter. Another 50 percent said the Internet isn’t quite as important as those things, but it is close.

The survey also found that 81 percent of college graduates with jobs check Facebook at least once a day, while 42 percent check Twitter at least once a day.
