Under the terms of the new relationship, Optio has been named the preferred partner for information customization and delivery software for J.D. Edwards’ new Solution Kits, a rapid deployment method designed to reduce time-to-benefit by accelerating the software implementation.

As part of the program, Optio will deploy a pre-packaged suite of its core solutions to improve the quality of an organization’s electronic interactions with its customers, suppliers, partners and employees by customizing, delivering and exchanging information based on individual preferences.

“In today’s rapidly growing e-market, providing solutions that support an organization’s need for collaborative commerce is what J.D. Edwards and Optio are all about. The synergy between our two organizations is evident at all levels,” said C. Wayne Cape, Optio Software’s chief executive officer.

Edwards have had a long-standing partnership, and their contribution to our Solution Kits methodology provides capabilities that will prove valuable to our customers.”

With headquarters in Denver, J.D. Edwards provides collaborative solutions for the Internet economy.
