Microsoft Wins Partial Ruling Over Motorola Mobility

Bloomberg BusinessWeek: A judge with the International Trade Commission (ITC) has found that Motorola Mobility’s smartphones infringe on one Microsoft patent. However, the judge did not find that Motorola had violated the six other patents involved in the same case.

It’s unclear whether Motorola will remove the offending technology from its products or if it will seek a settlement with Microsoft. Meanwhile, Motorola has also sued Microsoft for violating Motorola’s patents.
