Reuters: Samsung has a new ally in its ongoing legal battle against Apple. Apple has asked a U.S. judge to ban sales of Samsung’s Galaxy line of smartphones and tablets because they “slavishly” copy the iPhone and iPad. In a court filing, mobile carrier T-Mobile said that its business would be damaged by such a ban during the holiday shopping season, because already produced advertisements prominently feature Samsung products.
The largest U.S. mobile carrier, Verizon, is also supporting Samsung in the case.
