CIO: SWC Technology Partners has published the results of a new survey which suggests all the talk about cloud computing may just be hype–at least for midmarket companies. Only 3.7 percent of the mid-size businesses surveyed said they had adopted a company-wide cloud computing solution. And more than half (54.2 percent) said they weren’t planning any cloud-related projects.
In addition, the survey found that telecommuting was the norm at only 14 percent of the organizations surveyed, a 1 percent decrease from 2009.
