Reuters: The FBI has arrested Raynaldo Rivera, 20, on charges related to the May and June 2011 SQL injection attack on the Sony Pictures website. The Tempe, Arizona, resident surrendered six days after a federal grand jury indicted him. If convicted, he faces up to 15 years in prison.

Rivera, who also uses the handles “neuron,” “royal” and “wildicv,” is believed to be a member of the hacktivist group LulzSec. The indictment names another alleged LulzSec hacker, Cody Kretsinger, 24, as a co-conspirator. Kretsinger pleaded guilty to charges related to the Sony attack in April.
