TechSpot: Google’s Motorola Mobility unit has filed a new patent infringement complaint against Apple with the International Trade Commission (ITC). Specifically, Motorola alleges that features including location reminders, e-mail notifications, phone/video players and the Siri voice assistant violate seven patents it holds. It is seeking a U.S. ban on imports of iPhones, iPads and Macs. “We would like to settle these patent matters, but Apple’s unwillingness to work out a license leaves us little choice but to defend ourselves and our engineers’ innovations,” Motorola Mobility said.

Motorola already has another case against Apple pending before the ITC.
