Bloomberg: Unnamed sources say that Microsoft is negotiating with Yammer for the purchase of the enterprise social networking service. They said a deal, reportedly worth more than $1 billion, could be reached this week. Yammer provides Facebook-like features for use on internal enterprise sites and currently has more than 200,000 customers.

Representatives from Microsoft and Yammer declined to comment on the report.
