“Mango” Arrives with a Wi-Fi Tethering Surprise

PCWorld: Microsoft’s Windows Phone 7 “Mango” update has finally started rolling out to end users. Although many of the new features of the operating system update had been well advertised, the update did include one surprise: Wi-Fi tethering. The update also offers 500 other new features, including the following:

  • Messaging Threads
  • Group Contacts
  • Local Scout
  • Multitasking
  • Speech Recognition
  • Visual Search
