CNN: Just days after announcing that it would no longer be manufacturing its TouchPad tablet PC, HP has changed its mind. The company “decided to produce one last run of TouchPads to meet unfulfilled demand,” said a spokesperson. The company did not offer any other details about when or where the mobile devices would become available or what the price would be.
After the initial announcement that the product would be discontinued, HP dropped the TouchPad base price to $100. That resulted in an upsurge in demand that left many retail outlets sold out of the tablet.
