eWeek: A new survey of 2,400 IT managers conducted by Harvey Nash USA indicates that the IT industry still struggles to attract female workers. Among those surveyed, 35 percent said their companies had no women working in IT management, and 24 percent said they had no women on their technical staff at all. The survey found that in general, IT managers gave women higher scores than men for promoting “team cohesion and morale,” “getting the job done” and bringing “creativity and innovation” to the team.

The survey also showed that the IT labor market remains tight with a 4 percent unemployment rate.
