Mobiledia: Facebook has announced major changes to its privacy settings. Instead of visiting another page to control who can see which posts, those controls will now be “inline”–that is, a dropdown list will display privacy settings right on the page where users post status updates, videos, pictures, etc. “It is all about making it easier to share with exactly who you want and never be surprised about who sees something,” said Facebook’s Chris Cox.

The new changes will roll out August 25. They should not affect user’s current privacy settings.
